the detail shots help to see that the painting is very hazy and atmospheric, and yes that is intentional.

paris is not my favorite celebrity and i do not want to be her b.f.f.

i just wanted to paint her shoes, which led to painting the rest of her.

this is an old drawing from when I was in grad school 

(MFA, 2003- The University of Memphis: Painting Department). 

it is charcoal and gouache on paper and is big (it is as tall as me). the title is “my very worst behavior”
